The human quest
In life, there are generally three things that most people want and desire:
- Abundant wealth
- Good health
- Happy relationships
Success in life, as with everything else, is a journey, not a destination: it is an ongoing process that reaps rich rewards in life.
To be successful in life is to able to embrace self-help and self-learning wisdom to fully develop the potentials of each individual. The assets for success are surprisingly not money, but the personality and the attitude to succeed.
Do you desire success? Do you want just to make a living, or to make a life by creating for yourself your American dream?
If you want to make a living from hand to mouth, it is your choice; as a matter of fact, many are content with having a roof over their heads. If, on the other hand, you want to live a life of success, you have come to the right place. Make no mistake about it, this site is to sell you something that will make you instantly rich, healthy, and happy. On the contrary, this site provides you with self-help and self-learning tools that will only gradually and slowly transform you into a different person through personal development and self-improvement in order to create the “reality” of your dreams. Naturally, success is relative, and it depends on various personal factors in an individual.
The “thinking” mind
The good news is that the Creator has given each one of us a mind — a thinking mind, which has little to do with human intelligence. All of us can think, and our thoughts determine our actions, which accumulate in experiences: our experiences become the substances of who and what we are. So, as long as we can think and act according to our thoughts, we can create the “reality” of our dreams. Of course, there are other factors that may come into play — just as the saying goes: “Man proposes, but God disposes.”
That said, the human factor or the mental factor plays a pivotal part in making a life for yourself. The objective of this site is to provide you with self-help and self-learning tools so that you may achieve your goals in wealth, health, and relationships.
Why self-help and self-learning?
The explanation is that there is NO blueprint for success in life. What works for another may not work for you. You have to accommodate and adapt yourself to what you have learned from your own experiences in order to benefit from them.
That said, success in a simple process; it is no more than diligently applying your self-help and self-learning in your everyday experiences to everything you wish to become successful in.
Setting goals
Goal setting is creating dreams to empower yourself for success in life. Dreams are a projection of the life of success you wish to lead, or the realization of the goals you have set for yourself.
Goal setting means your goals are specific and realistic. Real goals will affect almost everything you do all day long — and, more importantly, real goals in life propel you into taking appropriate actions! If your goals are realistic, you will not be overwhelmed by them. The more you work on your goals, the more new opportunities will be available to you, and the greater your ability to handle your goals to match your dreams.
The catalyst of change
In life, we can all change things for the better. But there is one condition: we must change ourselves first and for the better — specifically, changing the way we think.
Remember this maxim: What you have determines what you become. Therefore, the more you have, you will become more than what you are. Becoming more than what you are holds the key to success in any endeavor you may undertake. Empower yourself with self-help and self-learning information to become more than what you are.
Self-knowledge
The passionate search for knowledge holds the key to success in life. Invest in your future, and it always pays off. But it comes with a price tag: the price to pay for that quest for self-knowledge is effort, money, and time.
Self-knowledge also includes understanding your own capability: that is, what you can and cannot do.
The journey of success
Embark on this journey of success. Take the first step. The ancient Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu once said: “The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step.” Now, take your first step, and one step at a time, and explore all self-help and self-learning tools available to you for your personal success in life.
